I’m hoping this is the last re-introduction I’ll be making for quite some time. I’m definitely not one to make promises all willy nilly, but I’m ready to re-commit. In the meantime, I’m so happy to have the mind, wherewithal, and, most especially, the time to sit and gather my thoughts and spend some time with the cyberworld. Heck, I don’t even know what we’re calling this platform anymore. Are we still in cyberspace or has the terminology flipped again? Anyhow, lets just get to it.
Hi! I’m Joi and I’m the owner and founder of CreatingJoi, LLC where the objective is to assist in the development of healthy habits for a lifetime of success. I am a certified personal trainer and health and wellness coach. I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals from all walks of life including the very young, the elderly, those recovering from illness, and those who are simply driven to take control of their general fitness. Client goals are always self-defined progress from a whole-health perspective buoyed by matching actions to values. That’s a whole mouthful, but in a nutshell:
I believe in intentionality.
I believe in remaining hopeful.
I believe in having a flexible and realistic plan.
Last, and maybe most importantly, I believe in cultivating a life that will, ultimately, bring you joy.
I know it sounds a bit hokey and rose-colored but optimism is my choice. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to remain hopeful, but I stand by my decision to let the sunshine in.
This will not be super formal space. I will choose to spend most of my time chatting about general health and wellness related ideas, but I’m not limited in that fashion. I’m hoping I’ll find the time to simply discuss other interests as a sidebar and maybe connect with others who can enrich my perspective and experiences.
Yes, I need to go back and revamp some things, but baby steps. I’m here. I’m doing what I can do today. And for this, I am grateful.
